California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks and Coastal Protection Act of 2002

The Passage of the "California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act of 2002" provided $300 million to the Wildlife Conservation Board (WCB) for habitat protection (fee and conservation easements), restoration and development of wildlife-related public recreational opportunities. These funds are distributed (allocated) by the WCB through grants and contracts to eligible recipients for appropriate and qualified projects.
